Bliss Key will be kicking back @Corinbank 2012

Bliss Key Communication is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Corinbank Festival 2012. When we were approached to support this multi-award winning festival, it rang a good bell. We are delighted by opportunities to engage in meaningful purpose and the development of creative communities. Corinbank is one such opportunity not to be missed!

What is it about this particular event that spoke to us?

Corinbank Festival, now in its fourth year, is one of the most exciting festivals in Australia as it holds within its vision the values that inspire genuine expressions of sustainable creative communities. It works on the concept of ‘immersion’ as its key ingredient and provides meaningful engagement and unique interactivity for its community of musicians, performers, artists, artisans, merchants and participants.  The festival enables creative social enterprise and the building of relationships amongst like-minded individuals and organisations that encourage long-term loyalty.

Held over three days in pristine national parklands only 20 minutes from urban Canberra, Corinbank showcases over 50 local, national and international musical performances, as well as hosting performing artists throughout the site, shared-vision organisations, food and beverage vendors, and creative artisans. As well as being a creative community, Corinbank has a genuine commitment to the environment. For example, it was the first festival in Australia to run 100% bio-diesel to generate power and the first festival in Australia to commission 100% composting loos. One tree is planted for every ticket sold and there is an option available for patrons to offset carbon emissions when travelling to and from the festival. The festival hosts the Green Kulture Village whereby participants engage in a wealth of informative and practical environmental workshops.

So why a music festival?

Corinbank is more than just a festival, it’s a complete community connected by a shared vision for a sustainable future and a love of the arts. It’s a holiday; a national tourist attraction; a party; and a hub for experiencing new and exciting local talent along with headline artists. It is an opportunity to be a part of something clever, courageous, creative and clean. It is something very special. Uniquely, Corinbank works with sponsor partners to design individual promotional activities that link your brand to positive, unique festival experiences. For example in 2010, Mont Outdoor Equipment hosted the Mont Blind Tent Pitch competition, where teams of three (two blindfolded, one not) competed to pitch a tent in the quickest time. Hilarious for both participants and observers!  Bliss Key’s sponsorship will be targeted specifically to support festival artists with grants for their creative participation.

Why not you?

The Corinbank Festival brings together an audience of more than 2,000 participants predominantly from the ACT and surrounding regions. Participants are typically professionals enjoying a high‐disposable income who care about their environment and are willing to pay a premium for products and services from companies who share their vision. As well as standard sponsorship opportunities through traditional presence, social networking media and event awareness, you can work with Corinbank to create integrated creative spaces/experiences which promote your brand in a way rarely offered by other sponsorship partnerships. Corinbank patrons have trust and loyalty in the Corinbank brand developed through Corinbank’s demonstrated commitment to the environment and the community. This trust engenders your brand through association, ensuring your message is firmly imprinted on patrons and their networks long after leaving the festival.

If you would like to genuinely support and participate in a progressive and creative social enterprise, while at the same time showcasing your unique contribution to a sustainable future there is an opportunity awaiting you at the Corinbank Festival. This is your invitation to join the party on the bank in 2012!
