Crisis Communication Plan

Effective communication practice is never more important than at a time of crisis. Not planning for hardship is somewhat of a human trait. However, not planning for crisis in business today is at best naive.

At Bliss Key we assist organisations develop plans for negative impacts using the Five Star Crisis Protocol, whereby procedures are established and communicated to all relevant parties in preparation for activation if the worst happens. This is one communication area that requires careful attention to detail, as miscommunication can often result in negative outcomes across all internal and external networks, a loss of credibility, and ultimately the development of a negative culture from which an organisation may never recover. 

There is no joy in challenging times. However, when working through a crisis, joy in understanding results from everyone pulling in the same direction towards resolution.
